Hair color: I’m a brunette but due to a great amount of greys I’m currently wearing purplish-reddish hair.

Zodiac: Taurus

Hobbies: writing and reading are evident, but also cooking when there’s no one else in the house, learning (yeah, that’s a hobby and you won’t convince me otherwise) and driving, since it calms me.

Favorite color: Purple, all shades of it.

Favorite book: Olvidado Rey Gudú, hands down. It’s a Spanish fantasy novel I read when I was 15.

Last song I listened to: That must be Evermore from Beauty and the Beast OST

Last film I watched: On TV? 27 dresses. At the movies? I guess it was Spiderman: Far From Home

Things I love: I love tons of things, I couldn’t just point out some. Truth is, if it moves me or intrigues me, then I’m game and most probably will end up loving it.

What brings me pleasure: the rain whenever I’m home, a good book and a steaming cup of coffee.

Meaning of URL: It’s an acronym from a verse from a poem I wrote when I was 16, in Spanish. It turned out to be a really cool name.

I live on the Vermont/ Quebec border and we always have snow by October. We had our first major storm on Tuesday (it wasn't even pretty just a lot of ice really...) and are preparing for a bad on tonight through Saturday that is expecting about 18in/ 45cm of snow and then some ice. It is already brutally cold (15f/ -9c) which is unusual this early - more common for the Month of January - this makes us worry it will be a long and cold winter. xx from VT

Hello back to the Vermont/Quebec border! 45 cm of snow is brutal, esp. when there’s ice involved. I’ve seen some videos from Canada on twitter with cars sliding down icy roads on their own accord. Would’ve been funny but I know too well how dangerous icy roads can be. Keep safe and warm!

Grey: 2 facts about my favorite things

I’m gonna talk about my recent obsession. The Magicians. Great show, lots of chaos and weird aesthetics and it makes you feel like you’re always high. But I thoroughly enjoy the plot and the characters are growing on me. Two facts, hmmm… Not gonna do anything plot-based because you can just read the wiki or watch the show (watch itttt!).

The cast is a nerdy bunch and everyone’s a fan of the books that the show’s based off of. There are characters who are added in who aren’t really in the books (e.g. Kady) but they’re grateful that the fans are all accepting of all the changes, and all in all they’re very appreciative of the story.

In one episode there’s a talking bear, and they brought in a trained, live bear to film. The bear was filmed separately from the cast because it wouldn’t be safe for the bear to actually be in front of humans, but the bear was a very nice bear (who unfortunately couldn’t talk). And then the actor who was supposed to have the scene with the bear had to talk to a green pillar and pretend it was a talking bear. It sounded like a whole ordeal.
