I think Bernie has to support hillary so those people that supported him and say they'd rather vote for trump out of spite, know where he stands.

Trump is a demagogue and racist, and the most unliked politician in history. If he wins, it’ll be because of the utter failure Clinton and the DNC to appeal to independents who hate the corporate political machine, and by extension, hate Hillary
All in all tho, I’m not mad at Bernie. The corporate interests that control Hillary and the Republican party have a multifaceted and multi-pronged approach to enact their goals of making money off the political process, so we as progressives need this same thinking to fulfill our goals too
Not only do we need people outside the political system like Jill Stein and a much stronger Green Party to continue to hold leverage of power against the Corporate Dems, we also need strong allies within the Corporate Dems to push for reform whenever they can and hold the party accountable from within. Bernie has done and is continuing to do an amazing job to that end, and I applaud him for everything him and his surrogates have done for the platform. He has to support Clinton to have any kind of influence. Will Hillary ignore it if she wins? Probably. But it’ll be to her and the party’s detriment.
We as a political revolution need to support politicians like Tulsi Gabbard, Nina Turner, Tim Canova and Zephyr Teachout as insiders aligned with the political revolution. AND we need outsiders like the greens and Jill Stein.
