i understand that you dont like the ppg reboot. thats ok, but please dont ruin it for the people who are looking forward to it. its designed to be different than the original, and its made to appeal to children. it wasnt directed towards adults who watched it as a kid

That’s cool. My opinion is my opinion and it isn’t meant to ruin anyone else’s opinion. If people don’t want to read what I write, they can not follow me or block me. I seriously don’t mind and it’s honestly a better alternative than people writing asks like this to me.

And media is media. If it’s on TV, I can watch it. Everyone can watch it. It doesn’t matter if this is being targeted towards kids, anyone has the power to turn on the television or download a movie file online and watch what they want to watch. The difference between this and a purely original show being directed towards kids is that this show has a legacy of equality. All ages and genders could watch it because it was created to be a cartoon, not a marketing vehicle for a specific demographic. This reboot is a regression of that concept, not a progression.

Plus if this is allegedly for little girls and their mothers… huh. I didn’t know mothers were children. Or maybe the creators of this show think all women are infantile, I don’t know.
