Flat Pack Festival green screen workshop
During the flat pack festival week, we had a green screen exercise which aimed to teach us about using a green screen. the first part of this exercise was to go out and start filming with the green screen. My group consisted of Abi shek, Lemar, and Ajmal we had a fun time filming different actions whilst in front of the green screen.
The photos above show the different ways we used the green screen, this was done on the first day of the exercise. I felt these different ways of using the green screen were interesting a fun to do, it taught us a different of filming and dynamic ways of using the green screen.
on the 2nd day, we used Adobe after effects to edit our videos, on after effect we used the 'keylght' effect to place another video onto the green screen, this effect also tweaks the green screen so that the footage looks more pleasing to the eye. I felt this effect was a really good way to mess around with the green screen, this was the first time I was using this effect and I quite easy to use and to edit the footage.
I though found this exercise to be fun and really interesting because I had never used a green screen before, I found this exercise to be a good experience for me to understand the basics of using a green screen and using the 'keylight' effect of after effects.
