“Haru, you like raspberries?”

That was how it started, and this was where they were now- with Haru being pulled back and underneath his grinning boyfriend as the other laughed. “Makoto! Don’t you even think about it, you son of a-”

“Hey now- don’t go saying things you’ll regret.” The brunette cooed, pulling the other’s arm up and out of the way.

“Don’t go doing things you’ll regret!” Haru squirmed the best he could, but he was no more effective than a worm on a hook. “Makoto, I swea-ehehhehahhahr! Nohohohoo!”

“I hahaven’t even touched you yet!” Makoto laughed, delighted. Haru’s face got bright red as he sank back, glaring. “Oh my god, I could do this all day!”

“Don’t! Just get it over with already!” Instant regret- especially when Makoto's eyes light up. “Makoto…”

“Haru~” The brunette grinned before ducking his head, breathing in as he went. Seconds later, Haru erupted in laughter. “Got you! Got you, got you, got you!”

“Ehehehehehehehhehe! EHehhehahahahAHHAHAHAK!” The merman flailed about against the futon as he laughed, pushing on Makoto’s shoulders as more raspberries attacked his skin. “MAHAHAKOOHOHOTO! MAHAHAKOTO, PLEAHHAHSE!”

“Please in “I want more?” Greedy thing, you are.” Makoto snickered as he took another breath. Haru’s complaints were drowned out by the sound, followed by his hysterical giggles. “You’re so cute though- I guess I can give you more. How about we change it up and do some of these?”

“Nooohhoho! Nohohoo chahahnging it uhuh-UHUHUHP!” Haru howled when Makoto aimed his raspberries into his lower ribs, making him arch with a broken sounding cackle. To add to his torture, Makoto also began scribbling his fingers up and down Haru’s sides, focusing on all the spots that had him seeing stars. “MAHAHAHKOHOHOHOHO PLEHAHAHHAHASE!”

“Ooo, you haven’t called me “Mako” in years! Reaching your limits, are we?” Makoto smiled as he pulled back, resting his folded arms against Haru’s belly and laying his chin on top of them. “Hehe, so sweet.”

“Screhehehehw yohohohou. Goohohoho geheheet kiihihcked in the fahhahce by a fihive yehehar old.” Haru waved him off, and Makoto laughed in response.

“Been there, done that. Got a broken nose for it, too.” He caught Haru’s hand, kissing his knuckles. When Haru stared at him, he laughed again. “Little guy never swam before. He got scared and I forgot how strong children are at that age.”

“You brave soul. Sacrificing your beauty for the sake of the children.”

“A trade I must endure.” Makoto sighed dramatically, putting Haru’s hand on his head. The merman laughed as he sat up, pulling Makoto’s face closer and kissing his nose.

“You’re still beautiful to me- broken nose or not.” He smiled as Makoto blushed, melting beneath his gaze.
