Sunrise Run | An open para
It was 4 in the morning - which was considered an ungodly hour to wake up at - but for Shan Highwater, it was the perfect time to rise. For this lady, every morning starts with a morning jog (read: run) and of course, the anticipation for the sunrise at her favorite spot. The cool morning breeze touched her skin as soon as she left the Redbury house. There was no need for her to use a portable media player as symphonies of early morning birds followed her everywhere, filling her ears with soothing lullabies. It was as if the birds’ music was a prelude, a welcoming gesture of nature to the first morning of summer.
The caelestis felt invincible - it was as if her limbs were not aching from hours of running and walking. After an hour of cardio workout, Shan decided to end the session with a cooldown and then sat on a nearby bench, waiting for the morning sun to peak over the horizon. “Ah, this is going to be a great day.” She declared in a perky voice, not realizing she was no longer alone.
