So, I have a 60v Greenworks chainsaw with a 16" bar, (not pictured.) It works. Is it as nice as a gas saw? That depends... It's quiet, it's relatively clean, it's light and shakes less. What it lacks is the horsepower and the runtime. The battery electric chainsaw is super fast at discharging the batteries especially when you get into 12"+ diameter cuts. I have 2 - 2.5 Ah batteries and (I've run my 4Ah batteries before but they just add weight.) My old Remington 120v mains power 12" saw can just keep on rocking vs this thing but it's got a cord.
Would a logger want this saw, no.
Would a farmer want this saw, probably not?
Would a homeowner in a very wooded neighborhood want this saw, yes it's doing the trick for me.
