who wakes up first in the morning?
Though one would think it would be Lena it’s actually Emily that wakes first!! Lena has tried many times to beat Emily but has succeded so few times that she’s come to accept that this is just the way it will always be, but whenever she does luck out, she’ll make Emily breakfast and bring it to her in bed!
who’s the first to fall asleep at night?
Lena. Early to bed, early to rise! Lena falls asleep pretty quickly, especially in Emily’s arms. Sometimes she’ll just go whilst reading a book or waiting for Emily to finish what she’s doing in the bathroom.
what they playfully tease each other over
Emily constantly teases Lena about her “long hours” at the “Office” and worries that Lena may be “Cheating” on her with her “Hero Work”, all to which Lena will quickly retort that it’s clear Emily has been eyeing that book she reads at night in such a “suggestive” manor!!!
what they do when the other’s having a bad day
Lena is the queen of small gifts! She will take her out for tea or coffee or even bring her little trinkets that reminded her of Emily. Oftentimes, she’ll bring home sunflowers for her. Emily knows that Lena needs her space, so instead of overwhelming her, is patient with her. If Lena is having a bad day, Emily knows how serious it must be and puts on a pot of tea, leaves it near her and waits for Lena to come around.
how they say ‘i’m sorry’ after arguments
Lena can’t go to bed angry, so she’ll immediately apologize, verbally. Not to say that she’ll admit she’s wrong if she knows/thinks she’s in the right. She’ll instead apologize for creating an argument and call it best agree to disagree on a sensitive subject. She’ll also find ways to apologize such as cards and flowers or gifts in general. With Emily, she really drives home the point that she’s terribly sorry.
Emily seems the type to avoid conflict, but when it does happen, she becomes silent, oftentimes bringing Lena flowers or tea. She may not apologize verbally immediately, but it’s only because she needs the time to process, to decompress and de escalate.
which one’s more ticklish
Lena! Emily knows it and knows it well.. Oftentimes using it against her to playfully get her way or sometimes hints about that thing she’s been planning for a while >:)
their favourite rainy day activities
They adore rainy days, being London natives, it’s the usual weather. They’ll both get dressed up and take to the streets, go on strolls through the park and just enjoy the weather. At home, Emily will read and Lena will curl up by the window with a cup of tea, she may read or just people watch from the window. Such lovely weather!
how they surprise each other
Again, Lena is the queen of gifts. Lena can zip around town, as seen in the comics to chase down anything Emily wants. She’d do it a thousand times over to see Emily’s face light up! ♥Emily tries to keep up, but obviously can’t do what Lena can. Sometimes she’ll just cook a good meal for when Lena gets home, maybe have tea or coffee ready for her in the morning before she heads out. She does the little things that make Lena’s day easier.
their most sickening shows of public affection
When isn’t there a moment of sickening affection between the two of them? They’re absolutely adorable in public. From Lena pulling out the seat for Emily or opening the doors for her (Who says Chivalry is dead???) to the hand holding and the soft kisses exchanged under the umbrella whilst they walk through the park. It’s the small and tender moments they share that are utterly adorable and sweet!!
