He’d been back in town a couple of months now and slowly but surely, Mason was beginning to reconnect with some of the friends who he’d left behind, who were still around. It had taken a few weeks to readjust to the city he had grown up in, especially with the hurricane blowing into town just after he had, but finally, things were starting to settle.
He had been meaning to pay the Kingston’s a visit ever since he’d arrived back home and only now did he feel like it was a good time. With a pie baked by his mother in his hands, Mason knocked on the front door of the house before taking a step back to wait. He waited for a little before knocking again, his head tilting to the side a little as he waited. Of course, when he could finally get there, he’d picked a time that they were out.
Hearing a noise around the side of the house, Mason took another glance at the front door before making his way around to where he had heard the noise, a furrowed brow in place on his features. “Hello? Everythin’ okay around here?” @greerkingstcn
