For those of you stating that there is no comparison to #Grenfell & the disaster of the #GrenfellFire at #GrefellTower, I appreciate that it is not the same cladding material, but the material (cladding and/or insulation) at the #BoltonFire is still flammable and clearly from these pictures you can see that the fire was catching on the outside of the building. This whole thing is political so I’m not apologetic that I am politicising it by stating that it was during the time of a @conservatives prime minister that majority #Conservative landlord MP’s voted against stricter building regulations. The book should stop at the MP’s decision and I really hope there is not another scapegoat blame like on the @london.fire.brigade like what happened at #Grenfell. The frustrating part of all this is I’ve heard so many times from so many people over the last few days, how lucky everyone is. It wasn’t luck. It was the hard work, constant practicing (since Grenfell) and coordination of @manchesterfire @gmpolice.uk @nwasofficial @boltoncouncil This shouldn’t be happening in the first place though. People (any people shouldn’t be living in there buildings and we shouldn’t be sending our emergency services into them #TORIESOUT #TORIESOUTNOW!!
