The Blind Side Podcast Ep. 1: Gregory Iron

Des Delgadillo, author of The Blind Side here on the AIW Tumblr and regular wrestling podcaster, launches today a new, AIW-specific podcast, The Blind Side. Hear Des sum up the announced card for AIW's next show, Hell on Earth 8, then sit back and relax as he interviews his former hero, the so-called "Crippled Crusader," Gregory Iron. As Des will tell you, the word "former" means a lot. As a blind wrestling fan, men like Gregory Iron mean the world to Delgadillo, proving that the handicapped and physically impaired can not only have an impact in professional wrestling, but compete fairly within the squared circle. With Greg's allegiance with Veda Scott and the ensuing institution of the four count, Des can no longer consider himself a fan. More over, he wonders aloud if Greg can be considered a man. What does Gregory Iron think of all this? It's an interesting, revealing conversation, folks, and a first in AIW history. As Greg himself would say, "Change has come."

Veda Scott scores a blow for her client Gregory Iron. From now on, Gregory Iron's matches will be wrestled with a mandatory four count, meaning that, to beat Iron, he needs to be pinned for four seconds, instead of the traditional three.
