Jared Cannonier stops Gregory Rodrigues in 4th round!
For a guy who has fought a lot of his career like he's afraid of running on E, Cannonier is just a tank of a man. The 40 year old went out there and got badly hurt twice in the first round, ending up on the mat 2x. But he got up. Using leg kicks and pressure, he ate away at the cardio of Rodrigues who was slowing as the fight progressed. Eventually, Cannonier lands an elbow in the 3rd that sends Robocop to the mat. Follows up with big punches from the top as the bell rings. Comes back out and finishes the job in the opening of the 4th round.
Robocop just isn't a guy like Imavov or Borralho. Both have are faster, more fleet footed and have more depth to their game than Rodrigues. Being able to exploit Cannonier's waning durability and immobility still requires some finesse.
