Dragon A Day 2023: DAY THIRTEEN: A Librarian

The closest we have to a librarian... I mean Greippi has a LOT of books, which she does trade and lend to other clan members. She also runs a second hand bookstall at the weekly Sunflower Field Market.

Poor Greippi has a severe case of gembond, which limits her mobility due to the effect on her joints and skin. She got into reading as a distraction, and a way to travel without having to move (since she also cannot fly, lacking wings I think because they had to be amputated).

Time for some Dragon Fun Facts please ignore that it’s been WELL over a year since the last one skjfglfgfg ahhh.

Here is Greippi the Coatl: *A very quiet and studious lady, she doesn’t go out of her way to socialise much, UNLESS you hit upon one of her special interests, in which case she will gladly infodump for hours. She is really interested in dragon history, and in the culture of other flights

*She has a very severe case of gembond, which greatly restricts her movement and causes her chronic pain. Greippi has to get the gems shaved/filed down at a regular basis, but unfortunately they grow back very rapidly. The weight of the gembond also causes her a lot of fatigue, from carrying all that crystal weight around. She can’t fly anymore, either. 

*Being a wind dragon, she does feel the desire to travel and see the world, but due to her disabilities limiting her physical movement, she mostly ‘travels’ by reading! She has a huge book collection and is basically the clan librarian- she will lend out her books to anyone who asks

*Speaking of books, Greippi loves to go to book sales and op shops in the hope of finding some new treasure. She also runs a stall at the Sunflower Fields Clan’s weekly market, where she sells some of her finds (obviously to raise the funds to go buy MORE books)

*She connected with her mate Yrtti over their shared interest in Coatl history and language! He introduced her to music and poetry, and now she often goes looking for sheet music to bring back to him to sing :3

OOC fun facts: *I bought her off the AH (many years ago) because she was so similar in colours to Yrtti, and I wanted a cute breeding pair. A g1 breeding pair >:3c

*Her name just means Grapes lol idek why I chose that cos blue...doesn’t really remind me of grapes? Idk man

*I gened and breed changed her myself! I think she could definitely look nicer in some of the newer genes that’ve come out since, but I can never bring myself to change up dragons that I’ve had forever haha, I get way too attached to their looks...

*Coatl are my least favourite breed and I do find her quite ugly, but in a charming way lol. I have a real soft spot for this lady<3

Keltainen vitriini harmaalla sisuksella

Olohuoneeseen oli pakko saada niin silimämunat tiristävä keltanen vitriini että joka uamu hymmyilyttää. Se oli ennen valakonen, kammofeikkipatina, päätettiin vetästä se ulkoa Helmi-kalustemaalilla keltaseksi Tikkurilan Greipillä ja älyttömän kauniilla harmaalla elikkäs Harsolla se sisäpuoli. Tuo harmaa oli niin nätti että sillä pittää tehä vielä jottain muutakii.

Hiottiin (tai Krisse hio), pohjamaalattiin (tai Krisse pohjamaalas) ja sitten sudittiin. Kerta riitti sisukseen ja 2 kertaa vetäistiin ulkopuoli. Sinne mahtuu älytön määrä kattausastioita ja muita höpöjuttuja ja joka päivä se ilahuttaa ja tuo issoon tillaan väriä oikein mukavasti. Vaikka tämä kevät onkin ollut tämmöinen räntärae, niin tuo vitriini tuo aurinkoa kuitennii mukavasti.

Kaunis on kuin hirvi!

Lös vitriinös on valmis(-ish)! 

Vielä pitää lasit siklata ja pestä mutta muuten los buenos! Tikkurilan Harso meni sisälle ja Greippi ulkopintaan. Tajuttoman upea!

Päätettiin olla myös aikuisia ja löydettiin älyttömän hieno, klassinen astiasto kymmenelle. Koska Jardaani on tosi hyvä kokki eikä ole mukeloita joita pitäs nuijanukuttaa niin nyt on hyvä kestitä läjä ystäviä ussein! Magee tuo pieni ommel nuissa reunoissa! 

Ja aamiaiskaapissa on valot jotka syttyy kun oven avaa. Vaikka se oli uppee jo aiemmin on se valojen kanssa tottaalinen showstopperi! Kiitos Kitzen👌 Ens viikon to saatiin putkitarkastus, jos onnistuu muuttotarkastus samalle päivälle niin kuulemma mennään samaksi yöksi jo sinne. Täti on toiveikas.
