So please forgive if this gets split into multiple parts, but I will do my best to be brief. I started reading WOT in grade 5, and I've been hooked on it since, with multiple rereads under my belt now (fandom joke is you haven't read the wheel of time until you've read it twice to catch all the cool stuff you missed xD). And I have to say, your live blog of reading this series for the first time has recaptured all of the magic for me in tonnes of little ways, and your theories and meta
(2) delight me everytime I read through, it's almost like reading the series for the first time all over again, and falling in love with this world again. You're essays and comments really bring a lot of life to this, and I can really appreciate looking at this with fresh eyes now at almost 30 as I did when I was 11. Thank you so much for posting this and I'm glad you love this series as much as I do!
Oh man don’t worry, this is not a multi-part essay ask! Or, I suppose it could be, if enjoying my WoT liveblog is a controversial opinion? Who knows!
Flippancy aside, this is the kind of thing that reminds me why I love doing the liveblog in the first place (aside from enjoying the series itself) - I love getting to see people experience a favourite story/series/thing for the first time, so knowing that I’ve been able to do that for other people is just really gratifying.
Also I can definitely see why a reread is necessary - I can’t wait to go back and see all the things I missed the first time through, or all the things that look different in hindsight!
