in june gay marriage happened & i went to a straight marriage literally the next day. i had some queer angst, walked around ashville NC, fell in love with people i saw for less than a minute. drank wine and danced with my family.

henry is so sweet and good and victor thinks he doesn’t deserve to even be friends with him, but henry has adored victor since they were kids and he’s one of the only people who can always make victor smile

victor almost exclusively wears dark clothing and/or anything with a lot of fabric so it can swish dramatically when he walks and henry constantly teases him about it and calls him Dr Dramatic

henry has always found victor’s tendency to dissect dead animals he finds gross but also cute in an eccentric way. when he confesses this to elizabeth she just stares at him like he’s crazy

also, elizabeth totally knows that henry likes victor from when they’re teenagers and she manages to keep it to herself even though she sees victor pining for henry all the time too but then one day victor is like ‘you and I should get married shouldn’t we? that’s what we’re supposed to do. but sometimes it doesn’t feel right.’ and she’s like ‘yeah duh because you’re in love with henry you idiot’

henry calls victor ‘vicky’ to piss him off until victor gives him a mild electric shock in revenge (and laughs about how frizzy it makes his hair for 2 days straight)

remember that time victor said that henry was ‘formed in the very poetry of nature’? well one time he says that to him while they’re lying together in the sun by the lake and henry is caught between laughing at how ridiculous he is and kissing him so he does both and when the laughter makes victor grumpy he just kisses him more

honestly henry gives victor so many kisses all the time and victor always blushes so hard when he does and henry LOVES it

elizabeth confesses to them that she likes justine and they try to both wingman her at the same time by literally walking up to justine and complimenting elizabeth to her for like ten minutes and justine is really confused but also mildly jealous because she thinks they’re both into elizabeth but after a lot of pining and misunderstanding her and elizabeth get together and all four of them hang out and are Very Gay and pretend that they’re actually 2 straight couples when they have to be discreet

victor is basically a really protective cat when it comes to henry. he’s like: ‘you are My Human. you will cuddle only me. but i am a dark and mysterious creature and i do not need your cuddles. i am only cuddling you right now because you wanted it. no wait don’t get up i’m not done with the cuddles. i mean. not that i need the cuddles. but i will not object to more.’

14. a music video you would love to see developed into a film?

gonna be honest i don’t watch a lot of music videos but i really love the aestetic of lana del rey’s early music videos (ie. “video games”) and i could see a coppola lady making some sort of film in that light

16. a film you love that everyone else hates?

i don’t know if anyone necessarily hates it but i really love gus van sant’s “paranoid park” it really does something for me, even if the acting is pretty subpar (but in all honesty i think it’s supposed to be that way)

18. what’s your favorite biopic?

oh GOD hmmmm WELL “cobain: montage of heck” was simply HEARTBREAKING but um i also really like “me and judy garland: me and my shadows” which changed me as a little girl (obviously because i love joots)

yeah I wish that was addressed more, I feel like there wasn’t enough focus on the fact that miss g was obsessed with her student, it was all about her being a girl and being different from the others

June - what is the best thing you’ve ever experienced?

My friends and I saw fun. and jack’s mannequin back in 2009 or 2010 at the electric factory and it was seriously one of the best nights of my life. It was my first concert without a parent and I was seeing a band I had loved for years that had gotten me through a lot of shit sophomore year of high school. When fun. played Take Your Time Coming Home, I felt connected to everyone in the room and felt so at peace. I still tear up whenever I listen to that song.

15- what time does your alarm clock go off?

I’m one of those bitches that can’t get out of bed, so I have alarms set for 7:00, 7:25, and 7:50. Sometimes I’ll snooze/ set a later alarm if I seriously can’t get up.

Edgar’s definitely a good one; James is a bit ruined for me due to the combination of this asshole who sat across from me for the first three months of kindergarten whose name was James and my unyielding unwillingness to let my grudges die.
