Name: Christopher Remus Potter
Christopher meaning "to bear or to carry" was chosen for their first born son because it had been Lily's grandfather's name.
Remus was chosen in honour of Christopher's godfather, Remus Lupin.
Gender:
Male. Lily and James would have two boys, Christopher and Harry, but they would only really get to know their eldest son.
General Appearance:
Though his younger brother takes after his father, Christopher is shares more features with his mother. He has his father's dark and unruly hair that he manages to figure out how to tame with help from his aunt Marlene who is pretty neat with those beauty charms. He has Lily's shape face as well as her nose as well as her stature, he would never been extremely tall like the other boys. But his eyes are completely his maternal grandmother's, hazel, though sometimes taking other colours depending on the clothes he wears. He has a warm smile that used to brighten up all of his family's days and always with an impish twinkle in his eye.
Personality:
Christopher is undoubtedly a mischievous child with endless energy. He will always be found running around or talking a high speeds (once he learned how to speak) or whispering frantically with his cousin Lyra for a prank they want to do. Christopher is also a bright child with a warm that permeates the entire room. His mother used to call him sunshine when he was younger because of the way he would just walk into a room and smile broadly lighting up the room. Though the death of his parents would be an overwhelming grey cloud over his head, he would lose that sparkle in his personality as he grows up.
Special Talents:
He's rather talented at potion's making like his mother though he has absolutely not talent in flying. And it is when he finds out about his godfather's "condition" that Christopher learns how to be an Animagus so that might be able to be there for his godfather like his father and uncle used to be.
Who they like better:
Christopher is a mummy's boy. He loves his mum and can always be found wanting to sit on her lap when he's young or asking her questions about potions or magic, anything really. He's a very curious boy and he also loves learning. He almost got sorted into Ravenclaw because of his thirst of knowledge.
Who they take after more:
Christopher takes after both of them. He has his father's mischievous nature while his mother's clear and steady head that keeps him from overdoing any of the pranks, something that used to keep Lyra from falling over the deep end from, when they were still friends.
Personal Head canon:
Christopher will always regret believing the lies that the Ministry told him about the death of his parents. He wished he could have believed in his uncle Sirius and not lashed out at Lyra but he did. And he carries that with him always. He never is able to have a close relationship with the Blacks ever again even though his younger brother Harry mends that a tiny bit so that Christopher is able to be civil. He is a little jealous that Harry is able to have that closeness with the Blacks but he is happy with the father/son relationship he has with Remus, his godfather, whom he insisted on staying with even when Albus Dumbledore wished to put him with his mother's muggle relatives. He wished he could have gotten Harry to stay with them too but he had only been five when his parent's died and luckily been with Remus on the night and almost forgotten... because who could remember the eldest Potter when the other Potter son was the boy who lived.
