Bitty explanation for why he’s more comfortable being close to Jack when they are in bed is very understandable, but still it breaks my heart . Because that way Bitty is hurting both of them. And deep down he knows that, he just cannot stop. He tells himself it’s the right thing to do, that it’ll be easier later, but it isn’t. He knows that, but he won’t change. Someone shake that boy and put some good sense into his head pls where is the happiness I was promised

oh thank god. i was legit concerned that his reasoning was stupid or wasn’t coming across correctly, so i’m glad to know his point gets across! i’ll probably tweak it a bit before ao3 pub just so i stop thinking about it but i’m 1000% glad it doesn’t sound badly written. that tiny section was why i was so blah about the entire post haha
