I’m glad to hear it! I can’t wait to see them! Also I’m thinking about using some of your houses in Griffinmere, because you know, the 2nd generation is growing up and they need a place to live in! (and sometimes I’m just too lazy to build such amount of houses, and yours are so cozy) :D

Farewell to Sims 2???

Questions:

When did you start playing the Sims 2? I started playing Sims 2 in December 2004! My best friend at the time had gotten the game when it was first released, and I remember her calling me up on the phone asking if I wanted her to make a Sim of me and telling me all of the different clothes and hairstyles I could have. When I got the chance to go to her house and play the game for myself, I knew it was a big step up from TS1 and I had to have it! It was the first thing on my Christmas list and, thankfully, the desktop we had was able to run it smoothly!

What did you like most about the Sims 2? I love the graphics, different age groups, weather, hobbies, seeing families grow, owning businesses, and sending Sims to college.

What did you spend most of your time doing in the Sims 2? I spend most of my time just playing families through and achieving each Sims' LTWs! It's fun!

One thing you won’t forget about the Sims 2? Probably learning about the online community. I fell in love with many of the stories I read on the Exchange and, later, Livejournal like Melcalero's Paper Doll, Orikes360 Pseudo Legacy, Simtopi's legacy, Colldingwithme's Colliding Stars, Eastvale's Eastvale, Circle's Sketchbook, Intense Feelings, Phoenixfg's Lycan Tales, anything by Goodbye_sun, and Crushthecamera's Electorate!

One thing that annoyed you the most in the Sims 2? Probably routing failure. Though it's funny, I hate how Sims have problems navigating to certain places. Makes building difficult sometimes. -_-

How has the Sims 2 impacted your life? It's extremely therapeutic! I know that if I am ever going through a rough patch, I can always pop my disc in and play for hours and feel like a brand new, happier person afterwards! Sims 2 also brought me to a community of supportive, friendly, creative, and talented people! 

Will you be playing the Sims 2/3 after the release of the Sims 4? I will never quit playing TS2! TS3 is a different story LOL! And TS4 at this point is a no-no... So...

Did you hold the Foxbush's wedding on a community lot? If so, how'd you do it? I've always wanted to try a community lot wedding but have never been sure about the best way to go about it... :O

I did! It's easy :) Just don't throw a wedding party or try and get everyone there by "outing" - take your household there and make the guests come to you!

I think if you have all expansion packs then you can use the wedding arch on a community lot, but if you don't have AL or Mansions & Gardens, there's this mod.

I used this invisible wedding arch recolor so they could get married under my deco one. In my bathrooms I have a few hack objects, mainly the teleporter so I can summon all the guests I want, the clothing tool (found under hacks) to pick formalwear for them, sim blender to make everyone selectable and finally you could put the visitor controller to ban NPCS like the evil witch so he doesn't create thunderstorms on your wedding :)

So basically I just sent Arriety and Flinn there, summoned their baby and all their friends with the teleporter, made everyone selectable so no one would decide to bugger off to work or something, picked out their oufits and had my wedding. When I was ready to leave, I unselected everyone who I didn't originally come with and sent Arriety and Flinn back home :)

They won't get the "had a wedding party" memory though - I think you can only throw those at home :|
