While in the neighborhood (before entering a family) open the cheat window and put in “boolprop testingcheatsenabled true.” That’s debug mode and any errors will now pop up on the screen.
Oooh I didn't know that! :D Will this help identify the problem cc? I'm pretty sure it's cc that's the problem as i'm playing no-cc right now and it hasn't crashed yet. I wish there was something like delphy's dashboard for ts2 so I could see if there are any conflicting cc.
I was tagged by Saanst, (you can check hers here :) and just like her I'm not saying farewell to TS2 ever but here goes:
1. When did you start playing the Sims 2?
2008. I had heard about it before, and avoided it at all cost because I know myself^^, but they got me with Castaway Stories, I just couldn't not give that a try.
2. What did you like most about the Sims 2?
Well I LOVED CS. And then honestly, the humour, the references to Shakespeare in Veronaville, the awesome text material (I mean, those uni majors descriptions!) I'm one of those shameful simmers who feel guilty for spending so much time playing a game, and I guess I need to make excuses like "at least it's not a stupid game".
3. What did you spend most of your time doing in the Sims 2?
Playing. I have no interest in CC, creation, storytelling, machinima, what else is there.. Playing and blogging to keep track of household progression.
4. One thing you won’t forget about the Sims 2?
Like Saanst, I guess, the people? The game itself doesn't really generate affects. I don't think about it or miss it when I don't play, I do still think of people who don't play anymore.
5. One thing that annoyed you the most in the Sims 2?
Lots of stuff, but wonderful modders fixed that for us (no what's this, no smells yummy, don't wave at me, no stuff face...)
6. How has the Sims 2 impacted your life?
So much time lost :/
7. Will you be playing the Sims 2/3 after the release of the Sims 4?
Never even tried TS3 or TSM, probably won't try TS4 either.
This is hard lol... OK, I'm gonna tag elaya-h, PeniG, Untidyfan, HerSimmyship and Genlisae (because I'm annoying like that). As you know, horrible things will happen if you break the chain.

Agh! Hospital time sucks. And as soon as you get out the world is all like, "You're out now hop to it," and you feel great one minute and awful the next and no longer know what you can do - don't stress yourself about what anybody else thinks, ok?
Yeah, I'm just bad at sitting back and letting myself heal. I like to be active, so this sitting on my butt stuff is no fun. But...not much I can do about it. I had to have my gallbladder out, and for various reasons they couldn't do it via a much-less-invasive laparoscopy, so I've got about an 8" incision. Fun! I do have someone to wait on me hand and foot, at least, though. :) It's just that I get bored, is all. There's only so much reading and watching stuff on Netflix/AmazonPrime that I can do before I go completely bonkers. *laugh* Which is why I'm planning to attempt to play my game tomorrow, if only for a little while.

Woah. Hope you'll feel better soon!
Thank you all for the well-wishes, guys. :) I am doing a lot better than I was doing last week, that's for sure. Now it's just a matter of healing. Which just doesn't seem to happen as fast as it did when I was 20, alas. *laugh*
I was tagged by the lovely strawberrikhunnie, saanst, and greyandsimming (added you and saanst!) :3 :* Thanks!
Questions:
When did you start playing the Sims 2?
I started playing Sims 2 in December 2004! My best friend at the time had gotten the game when it was first released, and I remember her calling me up on the phone asking if I wanted her to make a Sim of me and telling me all of the different clothes and hairstyles I could have. When I got the chance to go to her house and play the game for myself, I knew it was a big step up from TS1 and I had to have it! It was the first thing on my Christmas list and, thankfully, the desktop we had was able to run it smoothly!
What did you like most about the Sims 2?
I love the graphics, different age groups, weather, hobbies, seeing families grow, owning businesses, and sending Sims to college.
What did you spend most of your time doing in the Sims 2?
I spend most of my time just playing families through and achieving each Sims' LTWs! It's fun!
One thing you won’t forget about the Sims 2?
Probably learning about the online community. I fell in love with many of the stories I read on the Exchange and, later, Livejournal like Melcalero's Paper Doll, Orikes360 Pseudo Legacy, Simtopi's legacy, Colldingwithme's Colliding Stars, Eastvale's Eastvale, Circle's Sketchbook, Intense Feelings, Phoenixfg's Lycan Tales, anything by Goodbye_sun, and Crushthecamera's Electorate!
One thing that annoyed you the most in the Sims 2?
Probably routing failure. Though it's funny, I hate how Sims have problems navigating to certain places. Makes building difficult sometimes. -_-
How has the Sims 2 impacted your life?
It's extremely therapeutic! I know that if I am ever going through a rough patch, I can always pop my disc in and play for hours and feel like a brand new, happier person afterwards! Sims 2 also brought me to a community of supportive, friendly, creative, and talented people!
Will you be playing the Sims 2/3 after the release of the Sims 4?
I will never quit playing TS2! TS3 is a different story LOL! And TS4 at this point is a no-no... So...
Okay, I am not sure who hasn't done this yet! So feel free to do this if you haven't been tagged!
1. If you could meet anybody in history, past or present, who would it be?
The person who thought of making cakes 'sweet'. Failing that, Malcom X (post pilgrimage to Mecca), to find out if a team up with MLK Jr was in the cards.
2. When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A nurse, a vet, an astronaut, a tennis player, then a nurse again and finally a professional dancer (still my dream job,but it'll never happen /sob).
3. What is one thing that you can not live without?
Aside from friends and family? Cake, seriously, I don't buy it often but when I do, damn.
4. Do you like online shopping or shopping in a store?
Online, it requires 0 effort of leaving the house and you don't have to be embarrassed if you have to put something back because you can't afford it! ;)
5. What is your favorite food?
Cake, and a good ol' veggy supreme pizza from Domino's.
6. What is your biggest pet peeve?
When people lick their finger to separate papers to handout to people, I don't want your spit germs anywhere near me, sorry.
7. Do you have any siblings? If not, do you wish you did?
Nope and nope, I've always been a solitary kid and wary of people coming in to my life.
8. If you found $100 in your jeans pocket, what would you do with it?
Blow it all at Patisserie Valerie. Or in the bakery section at Selfridges (it's expensive but 100% worth it)... or on various flavoured green teas! :D Just food in general.
9. Favorite ice cream flavor?
Chocolate chip cookie dough, Ben and Jerry's, preferably.
10. If you could change something about yourself, what would you change?
I'd be more of an open person, in person.
I tag: silivrin, nightracer, twofee, spaghettifail and saanst, you guys were the first on my dash, hope you don't mind! :) Oh and honeyfields, I hope you don't mind me recycling the questions?
