Hi, I am Erica! How are you? :) I am a game developer and I and my team are currently working on a online game. We would like to ask you a favor. Can you test it out and see how it works? Will take ONLY few seconds! Would appreciate your opinion and feedback. Try it on MY TUMBLR. Thank you very much darling, tell my how it was we can chat later!! Erica :)*~
I was extremely iffy about this message, unsure if it was automated or trying to trick me into a virus (and who knows? maybe it did), but I decided why not?
The game tfettered is referring to is Knight's Fable, which is a browser MMORPG. The storyline was a little hard to catch because the dialogue would continue before I could finish reading it, but what I got from it is you are trying to protect this world (which kind of seemed like heaven?) from hell's accomplices who are trying to take over said world.
What I liked from this game is the fact that it has a seemingly nice storyline, despite not being able to really tell what was going on and the art was phenomenal. The gameplay was nice and simple, easy to use.
What I didn't like about this game was the fact that you couldn't really do anything. With one click you were sent to the next person. Traveling was done just by simply clicking on a quest in your quest list. There were scenes with portals that took you back to the top of that exact scene with another monster to fight. The fighting was really boring. All you had to do was click on the monster in the field and it did all the fighting by itself. There was no way to use skills or heal yourself. You just have to click, sit, watch, and hope you don't die.
Now, I only played to level 24 (I got stuck in a constant loop of dying by Sid [for those of you who tried this game out]) and I would have continued for the purpose of reviewing, but the fighting style was too frustrating for me to continue.
So, I personally didn't like this game and most likely will not be returning to it, but it did seem like there were many people who did enjoy the game.
