I'm on the aro spectrum too, Cas. :) do you think it's possible to have a gender preference even if you're ace and aro?

I do—for example, when I think about dating, or cuddling, or kissing, I usually imagine myself with a male partner, though I don’t imagine anyone in particular.

Not that I’d be resistant to falling in love with a woman, or someone who doesn’t identify either way; if I fell in love, I don’t believe my partner’s gender would matter very much to me.

Cas, have you ever dated anyone before, or wanted to date anyone? Is it hard trying to get a relationship for you?

I don’t think about romance much. 

It’s not that I haven’t been asked out before—I’ve just never been inclined to accept. I’ve never felt the impulse to pursue anyone in particular romantically either, so I’ve just never dated. 

It’s difficult enough for me to make friends, so I suppose it’s fortunate I’m not looking to start any kind of romantic relationship.
