"Dance move?" Wendell's brow furrows and he takes a long sip of tea in order to give himself time to process the question. "Am I meant to have one I'm particularly good at? Because I don't believe there's any I find more enticing than any others. Are you trying to embarrass me? Learn which dances I do or do not know so that you may get me drunk in an Irish pub on St. Patrick's Day and prod me into dancing on the bar? No, that will not be happening again." the grove wasn’t a solution. its people are torn in two; sympathetic to the cause, or eager to wash their hands of conflict. the tension is thick. if they take a deep breath, would they choke on it?

“ i think you’re right. ” their heel drags through the dirt. they pretend it’s the circle the druids had drawn. “ i also think they ought to douse the fire before it’s uncontrollable. they know it’s a death sentence, don’t they ? ” 

@greyteyrna might have heard a similar rant from other mouths, but when has florence ever held their tongue? the line is made deeper. more dirt gathers on the heel of the cleric’s boot – at least it will give them something to clean in the evening, right?
