This is not a black-and-white photo. I assure you it is in colour. It’s just that the combination of depressing weather, industrial zones, overzealously poured concrete and tarmac, the use of unpainted and unfinished generic building materials and the general lack of joie de vivre makes Slough a pretty dull place sometimes.
