for a moment , he's very confused , his thighs meeting the couch and his weight following as he takes a seat . " ... Ben ? " it comes out soft as he looks up , his eyes almost doelike in the way he stares at him . for now , the programming is at bay , leaving him almost like a puppy . eager for attention and for anything the other might give him , but he's also slightly wary . did he do something wrong ?

the   jedi   have   requested   him   back   to   speak   with   their   strange   visitor   once   more  ,    and   bail   would   be   lying   if   he   claimed   a   lack   of   curiosity.      he   draws   a   chair   a   few   feet   from   the   young   man’s   bed  ,    considering   him.        “      you   seem   better  ,      ”        he   remarks.        “      i   am   glad   to   see   it.      do   you   remember   me?      ”

       It was not often that her escapades yielded such exciting results -- the palace grounds were most often free of interlopers other than those of the four or six or eight legged variety -- or winged -- more often than not her only companions were the ones that she imagined on board the ships that she and Lola liked to watch and tally.   She was more than a little pleased with herself that she had managed to catch the stranger off guard from her perch high above him, though her smile took on a perplexed tilt at his words.   “Of course I can --”  

     It was clear that he had been in some sort of tumble -- or tousle -- he seemed disoriented as well as disheveled, and she felt a tinge of concern curb her curiosity.  She scooted a little further out onto the limb of the tree so that she could lean down some to get a closer look.   “If you’re trying to not be seen, I would definitely advise looking for some of the taller trees, personally.”  There was a moment’s pause, her head tilting as she studied him.  “Do you need help?  Are you hurt?  I can call someone, if you like.”  Stranger or no, if he needed medical assistance, she saw no reason to not offer it. 

                                                                         “Are you a pirate?”  He seemed like he could be a pirate, she mused, biting back a laugh --  she should’ve waited until she knew if he was hurt, first, she chided herself.

                    dessie   is   so   confused .     he   comes   in   here   ,   gives   her   a   kiss   that   makes   her   see   stars    &&    makes   her   knees   go   weak   ...   and   then   ,   he   fucking   leaves   ?   ?   ?     the   kiss   was   unexpected   ,   though   not   unwanted   ,   enough .     but   ,   to   just   leave   with   no   explanation   after   it   ?     desaevio   is   just   completely   befuddled .     after   she  wraps   her   head   around   what   has   just   happened   and   the   post   kiss   haze   from   her   mind   has   lifted   ,   that   confusion   is   replaced   with   a   certain   kind   of   anger .     no .     he   is   not   allowed   to   just   leave   after   that   ,   no   way .     stalking   off   after   him   ,   she   doesn’t   slow   down   even   when   she   spots   him   off   somewhere   down   the   hall   ,    ❛   kylo   ren   ,   don’t   you   DARE   just   walk  away   from   me   !   ❜    she   calls   out   ,   short   legs   taking   her   as   fast   as   they   can   go   without   running .     when   he’s   within   arm’s   reach   ,   she   reaches   out   and   grabs   a   hold   of   his   cape   ,   yanking   it   harshly   ,    ❛   where   the   fuck   do   you   think   you’re   going   ?   !   ❜

“i  could  say  the  same  thing  to  you.”   the  last  time  that  lando  had  heard  about  his  best  friend’s  son,  he  had  fallen  to  the  dark  side  ––  but  that  had  been  several  years  ago.   after  the  loss  of  his  own  daughter,  kidnapped  by  the  first  order,  lando  had  fled.   he  hadn’t  had  it  in  himself  to  stick  around.   the  loss  had  simply  been  too  great.   he  wasn’t  sure  that  it  was  really  any  better  now,  but  there  was  little  that  he wouldn’t  do  when  leia  asked.   she’d  always  been  a  difficult  woman  to  say  no  to.   he  offered  a  smile,  one  that  didn’t  quite  have  the  same  enthusiasm  as  when  ben  was  half  his  current  height  &  calling  him  uncle  wanwo.   “it’s  good  to  see  you  again,  kid.”

                    she   feels   his   presence   before   she   sees   him   ,   before   he   lays   his   head   down   onto   her   lap .     she’s   relieved   that   he’s   here   ,   desaevio   hasn’t   seen   kylo   all   day   long   and   she   had   been   beginning   to   grow   just   the   slightest   bit   worried   about   him .     she   knows   that   the   supreme   leader   has   been   on   his   back   a   lot   lately   ,   and   it’s   been   running   him   ragged .     can’t   help   to   feel   a   little   prickle   of   all   too   familiar   anger   at   the   base   of   her   skull   due   to   the   thought   alone .

                                        but   ,   enough   of   that .     he’s   here   now   and   he’s   okay   ,   that’s   all   that   really   matters .

                    dessie’s   petite   hands   begin   to   run   through   his   luscious   locks   of   hair   ,   nails   lightly   massaging   his   scalp   as   she   looks   down   at   him   like   he’s   the   entire   galaxy   to   her    (    that’s   because   he   very   well   could   be    )    .     surprisingly   soft   ,   dimpled   smile   takes   hold   of   her   freckled   features   and    ―    overcome   with   a   sudden   ,   unfightable   urge    ―    she   leans   down   to   place   a   kiss   upon   his   forehead   before   straightening   back   up .     her   smile   has   not   faded   even   the   slightest   bit .
