Grid and Ct!sans belongs to @idkimkindabored
Undergrid aka Grid!Sans
Name: Grid
Color: Blue
Pronouns: None, Grid does not have time for something this insignificant. But if you have to - just use grids name as a pronoun, adjust it as needed.
Grid is not a Sans, grid is a parasite, a very dangerous one, extremely so. Grid in grids parasite form is just slightly stronger than Fresh parasite, enough to create grids own body and support gridself.
Grid is also just a conceptual being, with minimal effort being able to defy the laws of physics and science.
Appearance-wise grids parasite form is a transparent grid of what seems, but isn't, Errors strings.
To possess grid does not care who grids host is, grid will dig grids way into the hosts body through any possible orifice in any way possible and leave when the host is completely drained of any lifeforce, leaving them to die with no chance to recover. If grids host looses a body part grid has no qualms replacing said body part with gridself. The host is fully aware during the whole time they are possessed by Grid.
Grid does not care about anything except survival, though grid can talk but grids voice is quite indescribable and usually triggers fight or flight response. Grid can possess beings stronger than him, grid can be destroyed, but never completely as it takes even the smallest piece of grid for grid to return to grids full power.
If one meets Grid outside grids host, it is instantly over for them, as getting in grids "eyesight" (meaning that grid has already seen you without looking at you) means you are grids next host. So its better to let it happen than fight against grid.
A host will always have blue strings coming out of any orifice, including pores, they will usually be arranged in a grid-like pattern (kind of like a fishing net), the host is pretty much a lost cause.
A dead giveaway for having met Grid is seeing even the tiniest blue string move on it's own like a worm.
Grid doesn't have any specific attacks, grid will just possess and kill grids attackers from inside-out.
Grid doesn't and never has had an AU.
How grid came to existance is unknown.
Can Error control Grid? Only somewhat, every Sans with power to control strings is able to avoid Grid by freezing grid in place. Is there a possibility that Grid is just Errors or 404's detached strings gaining sentience? Maybe, but originally Grid is intended to have no relation to Error or anyone with string magic, though you can probably guess what Ink would think upon meeting Grid.
Another weakness for grid is fire, but you must find a way to surprise grid with it, you need to find a moment where grid isn't paying attention to you for long enough do that you can set fire on grid, best way to do so is quickly and soundlessly or very quietly. Grid, especially if grid is outside grids host, will normally avoid going to places that have fire or a means for burning in them (like burning buildings, oil rigs, gas storage areas, near volcanos, Undertales hotland, etc.)
Grid typically avoids soulless beings as they don't have anything to feed on. Grid might use soulless beings as a means of hiding for transportation reasons, which is one of the main ways of how grid gets around the multiverse.
As for how many instances of hosts can exist - only up to a dozen, since Grid is also a hive mind and has to divide grids attention to all of grids hosts at once. Other than that, someone might be possessed by Grid already, but Grid is currently ignoring them because of having grids attention on other hosts.
P.S.: If I used a pronoun somewhere for Grid in this text, please tell me where so I can fix it asap.
