S’pore MVNO Grid Mobile Offers New No-Contract Plan: 20GB Data For $17.90/Month
In June last year, Singapore’s fifth mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) entered the market, joining the ranks of Circles. Life, Zero1, Zero Mobile, and MyRepublic Mobile.
Called Grid Mobile, this MVNO is a joint venture between Singtel and ST Telemedia that targets millennials.
On Monday (April 27), Grid Mobile launched a new no-contract mobile plan
It offers 20GB of data, 120 minutes outgoing calls, 50 SMS, free unlimited incoming calls, and free Caller ID for just $17.90 per month.
Subscribers can choose to upsize their data with 80GB data for $20 (available as a one-time or monthly recurring add-on), or 100GB data at $37.90/month.
This new price plan is not limited to number transfers only, meaning customers can either choose a new Grid Mobile number or retain their existing mobile number.
Grid Mobile also adopts a referral and loyalty rewards program for customers.
It will reward consumers with gridPoints on their birthdays, for their loyalty, and for recommending the telco to a friend.
By accumulating these points, customers can redeem them to offset their bills, get cashback, or score offers from merchants like Lazada, Spotify, and Grab.

Grid Mobile launched another no-contract mobile data plan, effective today. For S$17.90 a month, users are entitled to:
· 20GB of local mobile data
· 120 minutes of outgoing calls
· 50 SMSes
· Free unlimited incoming calls
· Free Caller ID
This new plan is not limited to new subscribers only. Grid Mobile said that their new S$17.90 per month plan is available to users with numbers porting in from another service, users with brand new Grid Mobile numbers, and users with existing numbers on Grid Mobile.
The other no-contract plan at Grid Mobile is an S$24.90 per month package that offers 40GB of data, 200 minutes of outgoing calls, 200 SMSes, free incoming calls, and Caller ID, as well as free 1GB roaming data in Malaysia that’s applicable to new sign-ups only.
