I have somehow done basically nothing all night. I can’t find enough desire in me to actually do anything, but of course it left me bored and probably feeling worse. I just hate everything and want to sleep forever.

Had a dream last night that I was with amelia and I was playing peek a boo and I mouthed I love you to her and she said it back to me. I never got to hear her say full sentences. She was so close to being able to before she passed away. I remember feeling like my heart stopped beating when she said it in the dream. It was the first dream I've ever had where she was older than she was when she died.
Being in my childhood home brings back so much nostalgia and grief and so many feelings I can’t name. But most of all, I miss my dog. She died 4 months ago and 3 days and her bed is at the end of mine and I curled up in it to try to feel close to her. I miss her so badly!
I feel like an emotional concrete wall that keeps chipping away and getting plugged with rubber cement and lost tokens of affection
I miss you every single fucking day. It’s weird how I could go a few weeks without thinking about you, but now that you’re gone, you never leave my mind.

nothing like crying your eyes out at therapy Wednesday morning before work as you recount to your therapist the grief you have been living in this last month since your cat has died. and she says to you “you know you deserve love, right?” and you think she’s probably right, but you’re still pretty skeptical.
