grieve trio I hate what they did to you
I absolutely adore Bernard and I think a little explored aspect of his character is this abandonment by Tim, or at least when it is explored it’s often reduced to just sadness. I want Bernard to be angry at Tim (and obviously for the two of them to still be in love). I want Bernard to be angry that in 24 hours he lost his two best friends. Darla came back to life and didn’t want to see him, just wanted Tim. And sure, she wasn’t really Darla anymore, but that has to make him angry. And then he goes and joins a literal pain cult? He needs a break. I chose two slow dancers because I love that song and the idea of seeing someone I could’ve loved across a gymnasium at a high school reunion haunts me, but in this case it’s about the three of them and platonic.
