Things are a very solid mostly OK, I'm happy to say! I had wanted to wait until I had a real concrete positive update but then the World got really really insane and I just wanted to come back for even just a little while because honestly times are fucked and this corner of tumblr genuinely makes me happy lol

Pai was recruited as a child to train to serve in imperial intelligence, but now that she's finding herself on the front lines it's much harder to make the calls her superiors expect of her.

Jytte is a soldier. The thing that matters most is the mission seeing it through no matter the cost. After losing her entire family, service gave her something to focus on, a way to exist outside that grief and loneliness.

Onhattu wants to be a good jedi. She really does. it's just that sometimes the rules just don't make sense. Why should she spare those who've killed so many? Why should she always have to keep herself separate from others?

Dinah's worked damn hard to become detective at such a young age. She's always been driven, throwing herself into her studies and then her work and rarely making time for herself. Pulling double duty between the police department and the agency should be easy for her. If only her heart wasn't also pulling double duty torn between Nate and Adam.

scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped): wyll 🥺 i would kill and die for him. also scratch.

poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave): astarion again. i feel like my favorite character is almost always a meow meow. i just love a pathetic man.

[ 🧱 ] how would you describe your muses’ morality? what are their core values?

jude is generally a good person, but her sense of morality is something you could describe as true neutral i suppose? it's pretty flexible, a case by case scenario. like for example, she'll pirate literally every game and movie rather than pay for it, unless it's an indie studio behind them. she's not the sort of friend that will help you bury a body without asking any questions, but she will do it if the questions she asks are answered. despite her stubbornness she's kind of... easy to influence if presented with a good argument, i'd say.

as for core values... what first comes to mind is that she's charitable, independent, open-minded, and cares a lot about social justice!

[ 🌱 ] what themes are relevant to your muse?

being the family disappointment, hiding real feelings behind sarcasm, very evident undiagnosed depression, changing for love (for better or worse 😌), slow burns with sudden realizations ("oh")

[ 🏆 ] is your muse multitalented? what are their hobbies, and why did they pick up these hobbies? if they don’t have hobbies, why don’t they?

umm jude's kind of a #fail girl LMAO literally like... go girl give us nothing. she's bad at way more things than she's good at. i'd say her main talents are being a fast reader + having an excellent reading comprehension, being good at learning new languages, and being good at playing video games. unsurprisingly, her hobbies are gaming and reading. it's pretty much all she likes to do when she's not sleeping. she also kind of collects dumb shirts i guess? at this point yeah, i'd say she has a collection fjkddh. the shirts she just finds funny, the other two she picked up to avoid being alone with her thoughts + to escape reality + etc.

[ 🧸 ] does your muse keep anything sentimental? if so, what do they keep and why?

her room is always a cluttered mess because of things she refuses to throw out: beat up sneakers, broken mugs repurposed into housing succulents or the incredibly unnecessary amount of pens she has, etc. there is also a shoebox where she keeps admission tickets to places she's been: concerts, museums, events, national parks. some plane and bus tickets too. she keeps them to remember days she enjoyed, places and things she worked hard to see, to remind herself that no matter how down she might feel or how bleak and monotonous life may seem, there's always something out there worth sticking around for !!

My Exile has no name and no face, so I'll just answer the second part.

I think I'll use Caine/Scorpion for these questions, since he's been rotating in my mind recently. So here's some more villain interviews!

5. What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?

"Who says I have any free time?" He counters, cocking his head to the side. It certainly isn't a lie. Every moment of every day is accounted for. He hardly has time to go to the grocery store.

Although... "I do have a fondness for tinkering. Breaking things down to see how they function, and building them back up again, but better. Or creating something new altogether."

"I actually have an interesting-" He stops himself. "Well, I suppose you might see for yourself soon enough."

18. What's the best way to cheer you up?

"This is the part where I'm supposed to say 'looking at all the tech I've stolen', right? Or maybe, going over my master plan while I laugh manically?" He laughs, shaking his head at the thought.

"It doesn't take much to cheer me up. A warm drink and good company is the best cure for a broken heart." He trails off at the end, the last few words almost a whisper.

"A vanilla milkshake made with Bailey's Irish cream doesn't hurt either."

23. Have you ever had a crush on someone? Do you have a crush now?

"A crush? Me?" He blurts out, vocal distorters working overtime to mask his high pitched voice crack.

No. Definitely no crushes. Ortega is, well, he's Ortega. He doesn't count. Not when they've known each other for so long. It's... something else. Not love. Not a relationship. Just... just them. Like it's always been.

Besides, he can't even think about this being a serious thing when he knows Ortega is flirting with the puppet just as much.

And speaking of Adonis... would the good doctor count as a crush? No, that's childish. Far too immature a word for the connection they have. Had. Although... was it even real to begin with? When every interaction they had had been based on a lie?

Maybe now's not the best time to contemplate his life choices.

He brings a fist up to his face to cough, stalling for a little more time while he calms down enough to continue.

"If you're looking for some kind of headline here, then you'll be very disappointed. I know the press likes their star crossed lovers narrative, but you won't get that from me."

A beat, then. "And if you're referring to that fight with Lady Argent, then I'll tell you the same thing I told her. I'm already spoken for, and no, I will not elaborate."
