ive grown a lot in my relationship with christianity. im happy where i am, and i got there by separating church and state, especially after being raised in the american church. having msgr wicks be an extreme rightist, turning peoples insecurities against them, being majorly hypocritical(as vera so beautifully put) and indulging in those “immoral” behaviors, versus having fr jud be a young, empathetic, passionate opposition was amazing.

fr jud’s view on his faith was beautiful. absolutely beautiful. and i hope some people watching this movie could potentially see that not all christians are hateful, bigoted people.

At the Seiran Academy (Oniisama e) all the girls were lesbians and they had the tale of the double suicide pact under the elm tree, and at St. Sebastian School (Orpheus no Mado) all the boys were gay and they had the tale of the Orpheus' window.

None of the schools created by Riyoko Ikeda were straight or normal; they were all queer and dramatic about romance (and I love that).
