Day 88 - 15/11/2022
Number 68:
Raz: I am a grieving widow.
"Grieving Widow" G-Man: I am your sister in grief.
"Grieving Widow" G-Man: Should I remarry or remain faithful to my spouse?
"Grieving Widow" G-Man: I wish my loved one was not dead, but alive.
"Grieving Widow" G-Man: I wish my loved one had remembered to indicate me as the beneficiary of his 401k plan.
"Grieving Widow" G-Man: Why. God. Why.
"Grieving Widow" G-Man: Ah, I see that you are grieving. I will give you your space.
"Grieving Widow" G-Man: The dead people are underground. And I have brought flowers because...I am sad.
"Grieving Widow" G-Man: I am alone now, and grieving.
"Grieving Widow" G-Man: The cemetery is filled with dead people.
"Grieving Widow" G-Man: These flowers are a token of my remembrance for my loved one."Grieving Widow" G-Man: Bouhouhou.
Day 7: Favorite Enemy A grieving widow and a mince meat bunny. Now there's a sitcom for you. Have I mentioned I love how fucking creepy the Meat Circus is? Because I do. And the G Men are top tier gold in this fabulous sea of characters. I had a tough time picking what accessory to give him... but... you know, he is my sister in grief.
I’ve spent a lot of time thinking, reading, searching for Nick in any way I may find him. At first, I imagined all sorts of things in desperation… Mostly ways to be with Nick, wherever he is. I contemplated running into the catholic church, where his funeral was held. I would demand answers or some kind of explanation. I have planned and obsessed over psychics, mediums, crystals, and spiritism. I would meditate, surrounded by crystals, and attempt to find him in an astral projection. I dream mostly of my own death and being reunited with the one I love so deeply. I dream of this in so many ways, A knife to the chest, an overdose outside in the cold, laying down on the train tracks, running my car off the road… I want to find danger wherever it may lie, and press up against it, dancing on the edge of death… But I want to slip. Now, suicidal thoughts are different. They present themselves as an urgent need to join the one I love. Before my world crumbled, I imagine suicide only to take my pain, or as a panicked decision out of fear and anger. Don’t worry, I know the pain of grief too well to ever bestow it on my loved ones. But is that fair? I’m living in pain, praying to a God I do not know to take me home to my Nick.
Tomorrow marks two months.
Sentimental pendant I made for a grieving widow
Here’s a sentimental pendant I made for a grieving widow. Losing a loved one is never easyJewelry often symbolizes love and memories shared

2 years after losing her husband, Thania is still deeply grieving his loss.
Timothy Sayne was killed in an explosion in Afghanistan.
Thania was pregnant with her second child when her husband died. She still doesn’t know how to tell her son that his daddy is never coming back.
“He always wanted to serve his country and protect us, and for that I am proud, but I’m also angry because he’s not here,” she said.
Thania tries to keep her husband’s memory alive by sharing stories with her sons about their time together. She can’t help but visit his grave at Arlington Cemetery as much as she can.
The couple’s oldest son, Timothy Kalvin, remembers his father. Please share this story so more people can remember Timothy’s sacrifice.
