Griffember 9 (#86) - bare-faced go-away-bird (LC)

Go-away-birds are so named because they kind of sound like they're saying 'go away'! Imo other species have a clearer 'go away' call than this one. They are actually a type of turaco! This prompted me to go look at a bunch of turacos and wow there's some neat ones in addition to the classic green turaco.

Lesson's Motmot griffin :) I'll pretend it's for @ains-art 's griffember day 10 even if its only the 8th lol. Hoping to continue griffember cus this was a lot of fun

im actually pretty happy with this given the fact i didn't give myself very much time to work on it (gave myself a break from packing up the last of my stuff before moving)

that being said, I do think the colors got a bit muddy but trying out new brushes and a new coloring style and in a time crunch so.... did not set myself up for success there lol.

Also not a massive fan of the background but again, time crunch, and I rarely give my drawings backgrounds so oopsie didnt set myself up for success again hehe
