I groaned as I walked back to our camp putting my hand where the giant gash wound near my stomach was.
It was caused by this demon shape shifter thing?
I told Azure and Huáng to stay at the camp to guard it incase the demon attacked there next.
I then started walking faster worrying that since the demon escaped it could've attacked them.
Timeskip to when he got to the camp
Once I got there I saw Azure Lion outside of his tent leaning against it and staring at the ground with a worried look on his face.
He then looked up seeing me and then-
I looked up to see Peng standing right near a tree with a bleeding gash wound on his stomach.
He gave me a weak smile and then he fainted from loss of blood
I then ran over to his unconscious body and picked him up and walked to my tent to heal him.
I fluttered my eyes open to see that I was someones tent.
I sat up quickly confused on where I was and then felt a sharp pain on my stomach.
I then looked down to see my wound was wrapped in bandages.
I then saw Azure enter the tent.
"You're in my tent. Oh and I have a question WHERE DID YOU GET THAT GASH WOUND!?"
"Well remember when I said I was gonna go investigate the loud roar that came from the woods."
Azure crossed his arms and looked at me.
"Well it turns out it was a shape shifter demon and it attacked me..."
"I have to back out and fight it."
I then started to get up but then Azure stopped me and put pack me in his bed.
"No you're not and you are way to injured to go back out."
"Please Azure I promise I won't get hurt."
"Nope. You're still not going out until you fully heal."
I then looked at Azure's eyes.
"Fine, I'll stay here until I fully heal."
"Good. I'm gonna go patrol the camp incase that demon comes back."
Azure started to walk out of his tent.
"Wait! Can you stay here for the night?"
My face was as red as a tomato from the question I just asked.
Azure looked at me in the eyes.
And then a a soft smile came on his face.
Azure then walked over to his bed where I was and laid down next to me.
As I laid down next to Peng I noticed he was blushing alot.
"Peng. Don't lie to me..."
I grabbed his face with both my hands and pulled his face closer to mine.
"I'm serious Azure I'm fine..."
"Fine. But please if you ever feel bad just tell me."
And noticed that my eyes were closing.
I then drifted off to sleep.
As Azure Lion drifted off to sleep I just laid down and asked myself.
I whispered not wanting to wake up Azure Lion.
Well sure Azure nice, funny, brave, strong and fearless.
Oh my god I have a crush on him.
I looked over at him to see his ears twitching.
They were like twitching alot and the I put both my hands on his ears I started to scratch them gently.
I then heard low rumbling noise. It wasn't rumbling it was purring?
'AZURE LION THE AZURE LION CAN PURR?!'
I thought to myself and then I realized how amazing this is.
He sounds so cute I could die.
Maybe being with him isn't so bad.
