The screenshots I get while flying on the griffon are my favorites.
Missandei the Valkyrie
The new Griffon mount was so beautiful I had to do some art of it *^*
When you finally get the Griffon mount and decide to try taking pics while flying :D Huge thanks to @shiverpeakstraveler for helping me with the last bit!
“It is done.”
While the invitation to hep the Sunspears at their sanctuary was one that was welcomed, Mirri was still hesitant to completely help. Would this mean she would be seen as worshipping human gods? No, it wouldn’t. It would still mean she’d be helping as she had been since she arrived here over 10 years ago.
Now, she’ll have some much needed and much welcomed help.
(Re-uploaded video, sorry for the apparent double-post)
It took me until yesterday to realize that Aerial Finesse gives superspeed when done right... mostly because the skill description is Not Helpful and getting the skill to actually go off requires some, well, finesse.
But holy crap, superspeed birb.
I only get to silver in the course, but you can see I actually did make the gold time previously. It took... a lot of tries.
Nyoom!
I’ve said this before and I’m saying it again: Game makers don’t give a damn about birds. I am yet to see a game with even remotely good feather wings. (the GW2 bats actually have pretty nice membrane ones)
These, as I call them, fly swatter looking wings have been a thing ever since 3D animating in games became a thing and what helped me ignore them in GW2 was the fact that nothing major had them. But now we have the best mount in the game (undeniably the most viable form of transportation and also somewhat of a status symbol) that has these... stick flappers. All they really need is surface area. You could ignore all the minor anatomical corrections I made and just give them more surface and you’d have DECENT wings. Arguably also better wings than 90% of game wings out there.
Path of Fire has amazing content. I love the maps, the story and the mounts. Their animations are gorgeous and fluid, and the cat-owl griffon is still my favourite, despite its ugly, dysfunctional wings.
