In 1977 the Republicans in Congress forced then president Jimmy Carter to sell his families peanut farm because they feared that some entity would use it to funnel money to the president. Well, not really, but it was a justifiable concern. Carter, did the right thing and sold it because he didn't want to give even the appearance of impropriety. The country had just come off of the Nixon scandals and Ford's unsolicited pardon to "heal" the country.

In 2016, a new president decided differently. Instead of divesting in his businesses or at least putting them in a blind trust where he wouldn't have undo influence on their profits, Trump decided to hand off his businesses to his sons, but did not take himself out of the loop. In fact, it is more than speculated that a few foreign nations and local oligarchs paid Trump, his businesses, or his hotels large amounts of money to "influence" him. There were halted investigations that proved that foreign nations paid Trump in various ways to get what they wanted.

This is the sort of thing that goes on in corrupt nations, and sadly, America is just as corrupt as any Eastern European nation during the reign of Communist Russia. Tomorrow, Trump is getting back into office, but this time he isn't just content to get millions of dollars from foreign nations through his hotels, or tax funded trips to Saudi Arabia or Davos. Nope, now he has a new con, and a much better way to hide the vast amounts of money nations like China or Russia will be willing to pay him just to get what they want.

Cryptocurrency is a godsend for someone like Trump. Anyone from anywhere can buy into it, but it doesn't really exist. It's like money for nothing. Except it isn't going to be nothing. We aren't going to be able to monitor who buys this illusionary currency put out by Donald Trump, and it is absolutely guaranteed that someone in Trump's orbit is going to suggest to all those entities who have business in America exactly what they have to do to get what they want. It's just modern day bribery in the Banana Republic of America.

President's often got out of office with major debts they had to repay. That didn't happen to Trump last time, and it's absolutely guaranteed that it isn't going to happen this time. The man doesn't know anything about running the country, but he sure knows how to pull off a con, often badly. A lot of very bad things are going to happen to this country. After all, a man who's only concern is how much money he can make, doesn't have the countries interests at heart.

PSA: Andara crystal is just glass

In the latest of scams in the rockhound/crystal world, we have "Andara crystal". A very pretty transparent "crystal" said to be found in Mount Shasta in California. But truly... it's just glass. Glass slag or cullet glass sold at rediculous prices:

Like, that is a grift.

That's what non-scammers call pink opalite, which is known to be glass and therefore cheap.

Anyone who tries to sell you "Andara Crystal" or "Blue/green/red/etc Obsidian" at high prices is trying to rob you

Meghan McCain is probably the only republican I respect aside from her father. Because they still embody the values of pre-Ronald Regan Conservatives: who were all about that budgeting, limited Gov spending, balancing resource consumption, and respecting Tolerance in Politics, more than individual interests or profits.

And she is Right.

Lindsey Graham is unnecessarily scaring people and harming whatever Political Gains Trump COULD have earned with the public, if he only had consistent war messaging across himself and his staff and supporters. like what Bush jr. maintained during the post 9/11 war.

I know you sent this in Monday and I wanted to wait the whole week out just to confirm a suspicion of mine. I can definitively say now: When dealing with the Trump type republican's, they are apocalyptic fearmongers seeking any and all profiteering opportunities. They are the door to door salesmen of the 70's-90's asking if you've bought gold for when the world ends. And they will use any tactic to frighten the consumers into panic buying whatever they personally peddle.

The more Trump has to talk about Iran or a situation pops up while he's in Florida. He bills the country for the time. He especially enjoys a major "bonus" if press conferences happen at his Mar-a-Lago or Trump Tower Estates.

Which is why I tell people not to invest in anything that Trump or his family fully endorse, because all the shell corporations and foundations that "bought his advertising endorsement" are corporations and foundations in which he is the Sole CEO or part of the Family Group of co-owners directly profiting from the "endorsement" and whatever people buy from him. Its a self profit scam that all but exposes the "I don't even take a salary" lie he told his constituents on the campaign trail.

Most of the GOP Senators or GOP donors are in the Large Commercial Businesses/Crude Oil and other Old world resources/Crypto circles.

Places where Trump has purposefully slashed EPA protections for untouched natural resource rich lands. Revoked taxes on the wealthiest CEO's.

Undid what little protections Biden managed to get in on Cryptocurrency, protections that was going to install the same rules Banks adhere to ,in order to prevent terrorism and trafficking abuses from being profitable.

(Crypto is now the largest contributor to increasing Sex/women/child trafficking in the modern age, so I Do Not Care how profitable it is: the money is going towards Epstein style abuses as far as I'm concerned and should be DESTROYED)

When it comes to financial decisions for the common man like you and me: What Trump or Lindsey Graham says to do about it, or whatever advice they give: DO NOT FOLLOW IT. Because their advice is only in the interests of personal profits or the profits of their billionaire collaborators.

Not you, Not me, Not your neighbors.

That being said there are a few people who do have sound financial advice on Tumblr here that is more tailored to the common folks. namely @bitchesgetriches. I have followed most of their advice when it came to debts and loans and have managed to do well enough on my limited income. To where I'm now able to focus on building up a gold profile to add onto retirement accounts, CD's, and savings. Well before my parents ever could. they also have advise on homelessness, college loans, car/house mortgages/loans, anything and everything you could ever need to know about finances in the 21st century. Piggy and Kitty have our backs.

Things will be rough, that much was true of Trump's first term, and it's true of the second. But you cannot panic buy shit when the guys who roll in your stolen tax money on war profiteering say you should be afraid and buying. That's just a one way trip into debt and you can sure as bet that at least DOGE employees are going to try and steal your money through a debt collection lie too.

I will give them credit though: gold, silver, platinum, jewellery is a good thing to sell in a pinch. You should have something in your firebox that you don't care about selling, if you have to start over.

But ultimately Trump's second administration is a big old Grift. If you need examples I direct you to this 3 and a half hour video of examples of medical grifts that have occurred int he US. Where you can learn the patterns of Grifters and how they operate. It's the same pattern, just replace the medical problems with War and the supplements as whatever solution the Trump or people within his administration is pushing the public to buy.

But no way in hell am I spending almost 6,000$ for an ounce of gold with Trump's fucking face on it. I'm not buying a phone he advertises. I'm not going to buy whatever Crypto he and his sons control. I trust that in the near future: any and all Trump face memorabilia will be significantly devalued for all the crimes and fraud he's committed as President.
