So...yeah

I’ve worked for a month straight now. It’s exhausting, but the money’s good, so I can’t bitch too much. Today though, we’re working at this person’s house, replacing termite damaged beams under the house, and a puppy comes running at me from across the street, right into traffic. Not wanting to see a smashed dog, I go out and get him out of the street, bring him back to his owner. Two hours later, a smokey gray cat comes bolting across the street at me, clearly terrified of all the cars going by. I pick it up, read the tag, it’s the same owner as the dog from before.

Saved this dude’s two pets today...feels kinda good. Makes the shitty month of work somewhat better.
