Hey anon~

I'm notoriously indecisive, so I'm just going to go with whatever pops into my head first. Favorite fic(s) written by me are from the What's Love Got to Do With It / Stay series. Mostly because @nuarthiel's fanart remains one of my favorite to date and because one of my readers actually gathered a couple of voice actors to voice the fic! The project ended up unfinished, but I still have many of those audio recordings of the actors saying Hiei, Botan and Yusuke's lines. It was so insanely cool and I'll never forget the experience of hearing my fic come to life like that.

As for the others: I adore Hiei's Guide by @crysta1-koneko. She initially shared a few paragraphs with me way back when and your girl was hooked. CK nailed Hiei's character so expertly and so hilariously. I had trouble picking out my favorite lines and dialogue for my review because I would have ended up quoting the entire fic. I'm forever grateful that she eventually completed and posted it because it was and is a masterpiece.

I also love by Anything She Does by LucretiaDecoy. Hiei's journey remains unmatched in that fic. I was so proud of the way he and the others overcame a seemingly impossible situation and turned their shitty reality into one that was better than the supposed paradise route. Also, Shuichi was a treasure. I loved him so much. 🤭

Lastly, I don't have any other major OTPs in yyh. It's HB or nothing for me.

I noticed that in Film Red, Nami and Zoro were suspiciously glued to the hip. She was always within arms reach of him! She also had a suspicious green smudge of paint on her thigh that didn’t match anything in her color scheme, which made me imagine Zoro putting a handprint there to say “she’s mine”.

And then suddenly this picture was born

I have never properly recovered from this scene. I saw just once in my formative years how Zoro almost broke a leg for stopping Nami's fall and my brain chemistry was forever altered.
