Hi! I recently just got a baby water dragon, and I was wondering if you have any advise or ways to make sure they're healthy?

Hello!

As with any animal, clear eyes, nose, mouth, vent and “ears” are a good sign. If their poo looks alright, not a weird color or runny. Also seeing that the critter is energetic and alert (are they looking around a lot, do they move around a lot during their active hours, etc). All good signs.

You can also ask a vet to do a quick fecal test to check for parasites, just scoop some fresh poo into a ziplock baggie and run right over. They’ll be able to work with that.

As for general advice, anything specific you are looking for?
