SQUELCH!
a sickening noise to most, though he didn’t care really, and now his only weapon was unsalvageable. granted that was because he had buried it in the neck of a whatever beast was trying to take a bite out of him, but what choice did he have? he’d rather not have his throat torn out tonight-- he’d been there before, and it wasn’t fun. he was somewhat tickled by the irony of this all, but that smile, marring his tired features like an old scar still, was hollow, and stained with blood.
oops, guess it got kind of messy there, he must’ve hit something real important. well, that was the aim. it didn’t go down without a fight either, and he cast a quick glance toward the three long claw marks gashing his bicep-- it really had given him a nasty scratch. the rest of its swipes managed only to graze him, catching his leg and ripping through his cape. he sure had a knack for those close calls, but now he was hurting all over.
“phew...”
to spite his laid-back sigh and expression however, he felt no joy in his victory. it was just something he had to do, just like back then, and he was almost at peace with that. almost. he was just glad to be done with it, but could only lament the loss of his spear, rubbing the back of his neck.
“what am i supposed to do now?” lancer whined, planting his backside in the dirt and woefully pawing for the cigarettes in his belt, lighting one up shortly after.
“ahhh~, i’m tired... time for a nap, i think.”
hey, he deserved it, given he’d felled a couple of its buddies too.
@grimoriomarcio
He didn’t know where he was supposed to go; it was distressing.
Everyone looked so angry when they saw him; it was frightening.
If he were to be cornered, he would definitely die; it was terrifying.
To avoid death, he figured it would be best to avoid staying in one place for prolonged periods of time and reach the goal as soon as possible. However, he had not the slightest idea if, while he was running from angry hordes, he was getting farther and farther from rendezvous point. Such was a limitation when Sieg never traversed beyond the mainland’s limits. If he could find someone who was both knowledgeable and not out for his blood, then that would be a greatly appreciated miracle. For now, all he could do was run, hide, and repeat. Every so occasionally, he may find an opportunity to look beyond his immediately surroundings in search of the location that was deemed the goal, but to no avail. How disappointing…
But he was greeted with a surprise (quite a scare) when he found someone else in the same temporary shelter as him—too close for comfort. He immediately retreated away from her, not because she possessed a pitchfork or torch (she lacked these, in fact), but because she was so obviously an anomaly… though he supposed irregularities were better than the ordinary here, when the ordinary were all fueled with bloodlust at the moment. (But… she was still a magus.)

For a time I reserved about an half an hour of my day. The interview was with potential consultant, judging from the resume things already seemed well enough but it’s natural that I meet the workers before making any final decisions.... There are still some things that I’m slightly concerned about after all.
For a meeting place I pick an unassuming but pleasant coffee near enough to the border between third and fourth sector for it to be perfectly comfortable. Reasonable prices and of course good, quality as well as perfect size in chairs and tables. It’s a place I visit often so they already know me by name and position.
As she arrives I’m still rereading her resume. I raise my hand to draw attention in case she’s not aware of my appearance - well, it’s something I’d expect. Doing simple research such as that can’t be too difficult.
“ Miss Prelati, I presume? “ I confirm as she arrives gesturing to the sofa seat opposite to me, “ do sit down. “

Travel by train was nothing new to her. In fact, it was so mundane and commonplace in the normal world, that it existing and functioning normally seemed distant and bizarre in a city like this. That said, the reality of the situation was that Olga Marie found herself packed like a sardine in the rapidly moving train along with several others as she made her way across the city in less than flattering fashion.
“Watch where you’re shoving, you-!”
Her temper, quick to flare as always, did little to help her in this situation that did little to simmer it down. However an odd familiarity and an uncomfortable weight did wonders to redirect her attention to another trapped in her position. Though it felt more like she had done the trapping.
“You there. Hey, quit squirming around!”
“Are you a magus?”
Dropping Francesca Prelati from Fate/Strange Fake. She was housed in 305.
Dropped for you!

A withering glare is directed at the petite girl, thin lips pressed together with the utmost contempt. For a complete stranger to question him so -- and his intelligence, at that -- she’s found the fastest way to receive the heir’s scorn. Though he had been forced to think up this so-called ‘plan’ on the fly, he has the utmost confidence in himself...but the came can’t be said for this nuisance, who he can’t believe he’s even acknowledging. As such, his reply is cutting, as icy as his gaze. “Of course it is -- why wouldn’t it be? I doubt you could come up with a better one.”
@grimoriomarcio - this nightmare just won’t end
THERE WAS NO END TO THEM. For every zombie he trampled or tore apart, two took their place. This was a race of two things: instincts and stubbornness, both of which he possessed more than enough to compete with lower undead. ( Just how much were they like him? ) Battle after battle left little place for the question to dominate his focus. The rotting, moaning dead were not the issue. The ghosts that were assembling like they were forces to haunt him on the other hand, he couldn’t allow too close.
Maybe they were people he knew. Maybe they were ghosts of his own past. The same went for the corporeal dead. All of them, standing in the way of his march towards the source of them. They didn’t say much, except for screaming ‘why’. Decayed faces, see-through leftovers, all asking that like prayer and accusation at once. Over, and over, and over again. For all he knew, he could’ve already killed his own sons among them. “... VERY WELL. THEN LET US REPEAT THE MISTAKES OF HISTORY.” Not like he remembered their faces.
A thunderclap. One of the larger ghosts fell to the beam. He counted the times he had left before his abilities would forsake him. Not much left. All of this, suddenly disrupted by- munching? Not a zombie, though he’d seen them feast on the entrails of the defeated in passing. No. Up there, to where he turned his head, a young woman. And suddenly, the monster Servant clutched his scepter.
“YOU?“
Like he’d seen a devil watch over him.
