Embrace the scars, the flaws, the parts that make you, well you

I put on a smile everyday, but most days I battle with my emotions and things going on in my life. I put on a smile for my son, for my friends, and for the world. I smile even though I want to scream, cry, and punch annoying people in the face. I let people think everything in my life is great, but that is far from the truth. I battle with all the bullshit that is thrown my way and I smile. For all the crap I take, for all the things people say when they think I'm not listening, for all the shit I will take in the future. I will smile. I grin and bare it, when all I want to do is say I give up. But that won't happen. I'm never going to give up. I will never give up being a mom to a beautiful little boy. I will never give up being a friend to those who need it. I will never give up being a daughter who will always be there for her mother. I will never give up on people, even when they want to give up on me. I will never give up being me. Now that I got that rant I've been holding in for a long time. Here's some art I started drawing. All I thought while drawing is Grin and Bare it.
