This morning we watched the sunrise over a field of sunflowers.
Last weekend, Brien and I took a drive out to see this INCREDIBLE sunflower field at Grinter Farm in Lawrence, KS. I have never seen anything like this...I think it's the happiest place on earth! It could be heaven.
For ONLY 2 WEEKS these sunflowers are in bloom. We went last weekend and found out that the bugs were already eating up the leaves and the petals are drooping.
The farmer is kind enough to allow people to take photos for FREE!!! If you take sunflowers home with you, they only ask for a donation since they do grow these for bird seed.
I think that is amazing...I'll take a FREE day of EXTREME HAPPINESS any day!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU GRINTER FAMILY!!!!
