For the number meme: 18, 22, 27 + 30 :3
18: what did you want to be when you grew up? has that changed now?
".. before I met Alastor, I wanted to be like my parents. Go on adventures, find treasures, weave my stories for everyone to know.. I didn't really think that would happen once I left the guild, but things have a funny way of working out sometimes, I guess. I don't think I'm much of a storyteller, though."
22: what did your typical friday night look like?
"It feels like any other day now. Not that that's a bad thing." She forms a fist with her hand, resting her cheek upon it as her eyes trail downwards; thinking on a time long ago. "The guild would certainly get loud on Fridays, though. Everyone showing off their splendor, talking about missions.. we'd have pretty violent arm wrestling competitions sometimes. At least until Aelius caught us."
She frowns slightly, not liking how easily it was for her to talk about the past right now. ".. I prefer it now. When Enid, Asumyn and I have time to wind down, maybe meet up with Scarlet, Scalde and the others at an inn.. I think I appreciate the quiet moments more than anything else."
27: if you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?
"That things.. get better. Even when it seems impossible. Being hurt isn't something you can avoid; it isn't worth cutting off your emotions at the slightest chance of getting your heart broken.. not when the good things end up outweighing the bad. And you can never have a chance to experience them if you assume the worst. You have to.. take that leap, no matter how frightening it may be."
30: name one positive change and one negative change you’ve undergone in the past ten years.
.. Nimbra seems very annoyed at this question.
"The negative is obvious, I'd think. Leaving the guild.. changed me into someone I did not enjoy for a long period of time. All the hatred I felt, the betrayal.. it consumed me for longer than I would have liked. I know it lingers within me still, but.."
".. it's quieter now. My thoughts are occupied by the here and now more so than the past. My evenings are filled with warmth, laughter.. things I'd been without since I was eighteen. Despite all the hardships I've faced with my companions, it's something I will always be grateful for."
