that's one of the things i dislike about movie hermione, bc she was supposed to be arrogant and super annoying at times like she wasn't a popular person and the movies just glossed over that

completely agree! I mean idk what they were thinking because people who read the books loved hermione for all her flaws but they decided to make her perfect instead thinking that people wouldnt like her instead? and then they ruined ron's character and tbh ginny's too like they're both boring ginger cabbages in the movies and hermione is the hero. Like they even make her more brave and likeable than harry at times which is ridiculous. Harry is the whole dynamic of the trio haha
