Things season 3 of Mandalorian forgot about or just decided didn’t matter anymore:

Cobb Vanth and his mod repairs

Din calling Grogu “buddy” or “pal”

The silver ball from the razor crest’s ship controls that grogu loves to play with

dealing with or finally letting Din understand why the dark saber is heavy for him

Din dealing with his beliefs and what it means to be Mandalorian for him (they randomly gave this storyline to Bo-Katan instead)

All of Din’s progress with droids, he called R2-D2 friend in BoBF but that was forgotten and he just hates all droids again in episode 6

Gave Grogu a piece of armor with Din’s symbol on it (indicating they are clan) and then never let Din see it and react to it

Having an entire story beat with Ragnar being Paz’s foundling then never having anything with Ragnar learning about Paz’s death

I finally got sent the finished product of the project I spent all last autumn/winter working on - my crochet kit and book for The Mandalorian (the Star Wars-based series on the Disney channel). In the New Year I'll put up a post on my blog with more details, including more details of the yarn used for each character.

So apparently no one stopped to think for one minute that Luke - who is the absolute King of Daddy Issues - just gave his student the option to give up his super hyped up destiny as a Jedi to just go be a normal son with a normal father. The option that Luke never had but probably yearned for all throughout his own childhood.
