Summary: It was late at night and Grom couldn't sleep.
Thankfully, Ash, his best friend, was always willing to help him.
So did you just hire pat to voice a skyrim follower mod for you? You can just do that? For some reason in my head voice actors are a commercial size expense but Im thinking maybe im wrong
The greatest advantage I had with hiring Pat Mahoney is that he's done voices before for a Skyrim Mod. He even made his own music for Skyrim as well.
Which I would recommend:
44 professionally mixed, lore-friendly songs to enhance your Skyrim playthroughs. Inspired by Irish folk music and other celtic influences,
He voiced Arelthor and Gromash in Interesting NPCs, and Doctor Watkins in a Fallout 3 mod.
So he's familiar with the lore and the game itself, I didn't have to provide any context or pronunciations of certain names. He knew what I was talking about in my scripts and even asked to edit/add some lines of his own. I told him "go for it!" and he helped flesh out Taliesin.
He was easy to talk to. I just wrote him an email that said "Hey, I'm making a Skyrim mod - here's the character - would love to have you voice him, would you be interested?"
but he's also a professional actor at the end of the day, so his work wasn't for free. But he was worth every penny!
Blizzard had a tribute to Mike tonight.
I am ligit crying right now.
Rest in peace Mike.

Why does everyone watch the parts separated and not in one video? You won’t get the story if you watch it separated and it more easy not search for the other parts all the time. Not main. Uploaded in youtube by Jason LeBlanc All rights of both video and audio belong to Blizzard Entertainment.
