Hi, I just binge read all ur Gross Spamton stuff and it's REAL GOOD. The human courtship misunderstanding stuff reminds me of rituals some birds have [[Does Spamton is Bird???]]. One thing I didn't see and wanted to bring up as a funny idea is Preening.
Birds fix and groom eachother's feathers all the time, but when displaying courtship rituals soem species take extra time to sit/lean close enough to touch and preen, indicating that they don't mean harm and are friendly (and are primed and ready to go to Funkytown).
In addition some species of birds in courting have to demonstrate they can keep their partner safe from other raging horny competitors. But to Ovulating Gross Spamton that's like,,, that one person that complimented y/n's shoes that one time. Y/n doesn't know why he's so pissed off that random stranger was Just Being Nice. but The Addisons are all in the bg like "no yeah that person Chose Death shame on them rip in pieces"
