prominent journalist kurt eichenwald posted a picture on twitter showing his email inbox filled with threats and harassment because he said something critical of trump or some shit, but the picture showed that he had another tab open on his browser for exhentai

people noticed this and immediately tracked down the hentai in question (it was some fairly vanilla shit if i recall correctly), but rather than just owning up to it, he tried to explain it in a hilarious way

what i want to know is why the headlines said “KURT EICHENWALD SPOTTED WITH HENTAI TAB” when “KURT EICHENWALD CLAIMS THAT HE WAS READING RUN-OF-THE-MILL BIG-TIDDY HENTAI IN AN ATTEMPT TO PROVE TO HIS WIFE THAT CARTOON TENTACLE PORN EXISTS” is both more accurate and five times funnier
