On my recent trip to New York we visited the #groundzeromemorial pools and went up the #OneWorldTower observatory. Honestly, it broke my heart. Finally went to the #GroundZeroMemorial in New York. It was absolutely #breathtaking. As you walk towards the memorial the first thing that hits you is the shush of running water. Then peering over the edge it feels for a moment in time as if the water pulls everything within you deep into the bottomless well it is emptying into. It is very interesting how architects intrepid emotion. The memorial is a great example. Caletrava created a master piece with the train station. Looks like an Angel all white with large spread wings. It is where people come to and go from ground zero full of souls .. this is a back drop to the dark sink hole a depiction of lost souls.
