Ngl I don’t care what breed your dog is if it can’t control itself enough to be harnessed properly it’s not ready to go mushing.
#dogblr#wolfdog people really be like this…in mushing fb#like wow I love people using their dog’s wolf ancestry as an excuse why they won’t train it to#let itself be harnessed#when plenty of people in that same#group!!#run wolfdogs just fine??#pro tip to harnessing and excited large dog:#take dog by the collar with one hand#maneuver your body so you have one leg on either side of the dog#dogs head faces away from you#with the other hand get your x back harness and scrunch it up so that the head loop#is easily able to be placed#pop harness on dog like a collar#de straddle dog#pull rest of harness down so it’s no longer scrunched#restraddle dog#pop legs through leg holes and DONE
