rural people who can't see their neighbors and whose neighbors can't see them that one would assume are under no 'keeping up with the joneses' type of situation's dedication to mowing their "lawn" every TWO days needs to be studied.

#not dogs #new neighbor has the oldest most terrible riding lawn mower for their small grass patch and mows every two days for us all to hear #and it seems to take him FOREVER #like he's out there for ages/hours??#like my dude your yard is in a wetland swamp this is not worth it #i know nobody else around here that mows this frequently #like isn't gas expensive enough in our american hellhole we call home? why are we mowing like this bud.#(highly recommend the chargable electric mowers both push and riding they are SO quiet)#every. TWO. days. completely unnecessary

Officials say that 12-16 pups have survived their first few months.

The critically endangered red wolf population in North Carolina welcomed four new litters this year. Researchers estimate that 12-16 pups have survived their first few months, which is a very big deal for a species with only 22 adults remaining in the wild.

Budget for additional wildlife crossings in the wolf's habitat offers additional hope for the species, since road strikes are currently one of their greatest threats.

i walk really quietly in the house and a little too often surprise mr. d so i got these new crocs that have fun little dangling star jibbitz and they make noise when i walk so depending on how you view things this is fortunately/unfortunately like putting a bell on an outdoor cat and i will only become more powerful and quiet in the future.
